Position Location Fort Lee, New Jersey

Responsibilities:
– IDS provides onsite helpdesk / desk support. Candidate will be visiting client sites to provide desktop support.
– For IDS clients that have own datacenter and their large network, Candidate will be trained to support server and network admin first hand in case of trouble in client facility & equipment.

– IDS is partnering with international vendors in Asia, Europe and America. Our staff will be responsible for managing many ongoing projects throughout the world.

Responsibilities: Our fast growing company is seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven System Engineer

Position Location: Fort Lee, New Jersey

Responsibilities:
– IDS provides hosting service from our own datacenter. Candidate will be responsible to manage equipment in the datacenter.
– IDS has clients that have own datacenter and their large network. Candidate will be supporting and managing their facility and equipment.
– During visit to client site, candidate should able to perform helpdesk support, if it is needed.

Requirements:
Candidate should have a good working knowledge of following environment: – Storage: EMC fibre, SAN, iSCSI SAN – OS: MS Window Servers, Linux- Database: MS SQL Servers
– Application: Active Directory, MS Exchange, VM Ware, MS Windows Hyper-V
– Backup: NAS, iSCSI Tape Library
– Techniques / Skills: Clustering, OS Mirroring, etc
– Dataceter Management: Datacenter buildup, Electricity, Power Generator, Rack management, etc.
– Basic Network Knowledge such as Local Area Network (LAN) : Switching & Routing Protocols

Minimum Qualifications:
– Related Bachelor’s Degree; or 5 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
– Strong troubleshooting methodology is required
– Individual must possess a broad knowledge of network equipment and servers along with operating systems
– Candidate should have good customer service skills, communication, work independently and have interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Microsoft Windows Certifications
– Excellent knowledge of virtualization, MS Exchange, Active Directory, Citrix
– Excellent knowledge of Cisco network equipment such as router, switch, and firewall
